This site is a tribute to John Griffiths (known as John The Whip- Bersham Colliery) who passed away peacefully on 3rd October 2020 at Nightingale House Hospice, aged 73 Years. Dearly loved husband of Hilary, much loved dad of Tony and Julie, dear father-in-law to Joanne and Tony, loving taid of Jordan & Ebony, Kelly, Georgia and Jemma, and proud great taid of Morgan. John previously worked at Bersham Colliery as a Coal face Miner, Colliery Fire Rescue and a Deputy, he later worked as a Postman at Royal Mail Wrexham.
